今年度は主に次の３つの作業を行った。まず一つ目が前年度に引き続いている、ワーキングペーパーの投稿・改訂作業である。現在はジニ係数に関する数値計算を追加で行い、不明瞭な図の改訂作業、関連した文章の追記などを行っており、再度査読付き雑誌に投稿し、今年度中の採択を目指している。次に二つ目が、研究成果のとりまとめである。昨年度報告を行った、企業による労働者の能力評価が不完全な場合の、生産性の不確実性を緩和する費用支出を行い合う地域間競争モデルの研究に関する追加計算ととりまとめを行った。昨年度までは、主に計算が容易な対称地域の状況について考察を行っていたが、今年度はより計算が困難な、生産性などのパラメータが非対称な状況についての考察を行った。そこでは、生産性が高い地域ほど、その生産性の高さのために、均衡での企業の労働者の能力評価支出が少なくて済むことと、生産性の高さのため、結果的に生産性の高い地域の企業の利潤が大きくなることを追加で示した。このことは、高い生産性の地域の企業がその利潤を用いて研究開発を行うことで、さらに生産性を高めることができ、より少ないコストで労働者を呼び込むことができる可能性を表しており、労働者の集積力の新たな側面として位置付けることができると考えられる。最後に三つ目として、段階的な人的資本形成と能力情報伝達についての研究について、モデル構築の基礎段階を行っている。先ほどの研究の結果を踏まえたうえで、モデルの簡略化の程度についての基礎的な検討を行った。来年度中のワーキングペーパーの公表を目指している。
