健康長寿に対する身体活動の効果を示すエビデンスは蓄積されているものの，身体活動促進に向けた取り組みの効果はいまだ十分とは言えない．その原因として，身体活動は遺伝要因の影響を受け，遺伝率は国，人種によって大きく異なることが考えられる．一方，近年，高齢者の身体活動と近隣環境であるWalkabilityとの関連が注目され，環境要因として有用な指標になりつつある．効果的な身体活動促進の戦略を立てるためには，日本人を対象にした身体活動における遺伝・環境要因の解明が急務である．そこで，本研究の目的は，わが国唯一の高齢双生児レジストリ登録者を対象に，遺伝要因を制御し環境要因の影響，相互作用を明確にできる双生児研究法を用い，身体活動における環境要因を特定し，特にWalkabilityの影響を推計する．また，遺伝・環境相互作用を検討し，身体活動の環境要因の解明およびわが国での効果的な身体活動促進戦略の検討を行うことである．初年度は調査に向けて，対象者の抽出，調査項目の再検討，可能な範囲で対面調査を実施する予定であったが，感染状況および研究者体制の問題で，高齢者を大学等へ招へいして行う対面調査が行なえない状況であった．そのため，レジストリに蓄積されているデータを活用し，身体活動に関連し，高齢者にとって社会的な課題であるサルコペニアの診断基準についての遺伝率の推計し，効果的な介入方法の検討（身体活動介入の可能性）に繋がる結果を報告した．

The Japanese people are facing the problem of physical activity, and the environment needs to be solved urgently. The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate the effects of environmental factors on the development of a unique twin-child approach to physical activity, especially Walkability. Environmental interactions are discussed, environmental factors of physical activity are explained, and effects of physical activity are discussed. In the initial year, the direction of the investigation, the extraction of the target, the re-examination of the investigation project, the possible scope of the investigation, the predetermined implementation, the infection status, the problem of the researcher system, the high level of the university, etc., the investigation and the implementation status. In addition, the accumulated data can be used and physical activity is related to it. The high-level people are a social issue and the diagnostic criteria for high-level services are the basis for the calculation of transmission rates. The results of the review of effective intervention methods (the possibility of physical activity intervention) are reported.
