本研究の目的は、がん遺伝子パネル検査を受ける患者に必要な看護支援を開発するため、がん遺伝子パネル検査を受ける患者の認識や感情と患者が看護師に求める支援、がん遺伝子パネル検査における看護実践、がん遺伝子パネル検査における多職種が看護師へ求める役割を明らかにすることである。2022年度は、対象者へのインタビュー調査実施のための準備を行った。インタビュー調査の調査項目の明確化のため、文献検討を実施した。文献検討によって、進行がん患者ががん遺伝子パネル検査の受験時における心理状況や必要とする支援を明らかにした。その結果、がん遺伝子パネル検査を受け、新しい治療につながる結果を得られたがん患者は、検査そのものに対し高く満足していた。しかし、新しい治療につながる結果を得られなかった患者は心理的負担が大きいこと、「検査結果が出るまでの待機時間の長さ」「ゲノムに関する情報理解の難しさ」「がん遺伝子パネル検査にたどり着くまでのアクセシビリティの難しさ」が課題となっていることがわかった。今後、提供する支援として、プレカウンセリングの必要性やネガティブな検査結果となった場合を想定した支援、がん遺伝子パネル検査の前後における医療提供体制の整備の必要性が示唆された。また、定期的に開催されている遺伝子パネル検査、遺伝カンファレンスに参加し、がんゲノム医療に関する情報収集に取り組んだ。現在、文献検討の結果を踏まえて、倫理審査委員会への申請準備を行っている段階である。
