本年度は、女性の墓誌銘に注目をし、文言検索や特徴把握を行った。男性の墓誌銘は、職歴などの生涯の履歴を文章化することが多いが、女性の墓誌銘は、官職等の記録は少なく、故人を称える四言等の詞文を多く有しており、文書的な特徴を把握するには丁度よい。北朝の女性の墓誌銘の用語の調査を通じて、伝承する文言に男女差や関連性等の特徴が見られるのかを検証することを中心とし、また、女性としての墓誌銘の代表例の抽出が可能であるのか、書的な共通性が見られるのか等の検討を行った。女性の墓誌216件、文字数12万字について、二文字熟語を基本として検索を行い、共通性を探った。女性墓誌銘の分類とグループ化では、比較した詞句を三類に分類した。すなわち、①女性に使用される用語が多い墓誌銘、②女性から男性へ伝播する用語が多い墓誌銘、③女性も男性も使用する用語が多い墓誌銘、の三つである。①では、早期に作られた墓誌銘ほど他の資料との一致率が高いという傾向もある。②でも、比較的に早期に作成された女性墓誌銘で多く用いられていた二字句ほど、男性に広がっていく事例が見られる。また、③は男女ともに広く使用する詞句を利用して撰文しているのであるが、北魏遷都直後の作例は男性のものが多く、男性から女性に影響を与えたと思われる詞句が目立っている。結果として、①北朝を通じて用語の伝承は行われている、②男性と女性の墓誌銘に用語の違いは見られるが、女性が使用する詞句を男性が使用する例も見られる、③北魏の洛陽遷都後の比較的早期に作られた詞句には経書や史書等の文献資料との一致率が高い、④女性間で用いられた詞句を多用する集団を確認できる、⑤集団化できた資料でも書風の共通性は確認できない。また、詞句の上で代表的な作例である、蘇阿女墓誌銘と常季繁墓誌銘の訳注を行い、これらが古くからの文書内容を受け継いでいる可能性があることを証明した。
