本研究では飛鳥期の完好な状態で受け継がれてきた伝世品に焦点を当て、透彫技術の非破壊的分析調査、工具再現制作等、多面的視点からの調査を行い技法の解明に挑む。現存する銘品から、特に、「透彫加工の痕跡が顕著に現れる加工断面」を工学顕微鏡やSEM観察による科学分析を用いて本研究の技法復元立証を行う。透彫は金工の加飾技法の一種であり、その歴史は古く、古墳時代の刀剣の鐔や装身具、奈良時代の法隆寺、正倉院の仏具加飾など、卓越した金属工芸作品は多岐に渡る。当時の透彫技法は鏨で透かした後に切断面に鑢をかけて仕上げたものと考えられ、現在使用されている糸鋸を用いた切削とは異なるものとされてきた。しかし、先行研究として透彫技法解明に向けた文献調査、実見調査を進めたところ、建築史、文化史から古墳期に出土した副葬品の中に古墳出土鋸が発掘されていたことがわかった。本年は、平安から江戸期にかけて透彫金工作品六点の実見調査、鋸刃による刃断面のSEM観察・撮影、切鏨の作成と製作工具を用いた鏨による突っ切り加工を調査、金銅灌頂幡の文献調査を進めた。今後は調査試料を増やすと共に、製作試料の分析を行い、二つの製作技法の違いを科学分析による調査から飛鳥期透彫の技法を調査していく。

This study focuses on the investigation of the intact state of the bird, the analysis of the non-destructive carving technology, the reproduction of tools, and the analysis of the investigation of the multi-faceted techniques. The existing inscription marks, special features,"the trace of open carving processing and the appearance of processing sections" are studied by engineering, SEM and scientific analysis. The techniques of this study are reconstructed and verified. A kind of decoration technique of open carving and metalworking, such as ancient, ancient tomb, Nara era, Zhengkuyuan, etc. At that time, the carving technique was used to cut through the surface, but now it is used to cut through the surface. The first research on carving techniques is to investigate the literature and the actual investigation. The history of architecture and culture is to excavate the ancient tombs. This year, the investigation of six points of open-cut metalworking works, SEM observation, image extraction, cutting and manufacturing tools, investigation of cutting and machining, and literature investigation of gold-copper emplacement flags were carried out. In the future, the investigation of sample preparation, analysis of sample preparation, scientific analysis of production techniques, investigation of bird carving techniques, etc.
