１ 麻紙の支持体としての独自性を再確認するため、その原料となる楮についての調査を行った。中村寿生文星芸術大学准教授の指導・協力のもと、那須楮の栽培に参加し、芽かきから剪定、刈り取り、蒸して皮引き作業を通して楮の特性を体感することができた。皮引きの原料は新潟県門出和紙工房で漉かれて「文間和紙」となる。門出和紙工房の小林康生氏に取材も行い、紙漉きによる独自の支持体の可能性について意見交換を行った。２ 古典技法である染め紙について、雲肌麻紙・高知麻紙・文間和紙それぞれの和紙において実践した。特に「折り染め」という方法を用いて、水分量や顔料の種類などを変えながら技法材料実験を展開した。３ 裏彩色の表現については雲肌麻紙を支持体として、霧吹きや布地などの刷毛以外の用具で滲み止めを行うなど、制作実践を通してその効果を検証した。特に布地を用いた滲み止めのマチエールには独創的な表現がみられ、「第49回創画展」（令和4年10月24日から30日、東京都美術館。同年11月8日から13日、京都市京セラ美術館）において作品「Distance」（162×112cm）として発表した。４ 日本画教育における支持体調査として、文星芸術大学日本画分野の見学を行った。ここで学生が使用する支持体は新潟県門出和紙工房で漉かれた「文間和紙」が主であり、雲肌麻紙や高知麻紙は殆ど使用されていなかった。５　感染対策を行いながら、次の２つのワークショップを開催することができた。「楮皮引きワークショップ」（2022年5月2日、筑波大学アート&デザイン実習室、筑波大学芸術専門学群および大学院の日本画領域の学生）。「染めた和紙でクリスマスランタンを作ろう」（2022年12月22日、筑波大学アート&デザイン実習室、つくば市在住の小学生）
