本研究の目的は、日本の代表的な市民科学の１つである市民放射能測定における測定実践を、放射能測定器といった「装置」や放射性物質などの「物」を通じて理解することである。とりわけ、主流の科学への抵抗や代替的手段として発展してきた市民科学の意義を分析するため、主流の科学が持つ二元論的な区分への批判的理論を展開してきたフェミニスト科学技術論の分析枠組みを援用する。初年度である本年度は、下記の2点を中心に研究を進めた。１）市民科学における放射能測定装置の歴史的推移：日本において、人々の生活環境の放射能測定が行われた歴史は1945年の原子爆弾投下に遡ることができる。広島および長崎の被害状況調査には携帯用測定器として、箔検電器、ガイガー計数器、ローリッツェン検電器が使用された（今中 2014）。また、当時、宇宙線計測器としてはすでに旧型となっていたネーヤ電位計が現場に持ち込まれ使用されている点は注目に値する（中根 2000）。1954年の第五福竜丸事件でも、ほぼ同様の機器が用いられている(筧 1984, 浜田 1995)。その後、50年代半ばより「原子力の平和利用」キャンペーンが行われる中、60年代には宇井純らの「公害原論」講座が開始されるなど後の市民科学の萌芽が見られる。50年代半ばから70年代にかけての放射能測定機器の研究開発と一般市民の利用可能性の検討がさらに必要である。２）マテリアル・フェミニズムによる市民科学分析：本研究の分析枠組みとして、フェミニズム科学論研究者カレン・バラッドが理論物理学者ニールス・ボーアの量子論を元に提唱した Agential Realism （エージェンシー的実在論）を用いる。本年度はバラッドの基礎文献の確認と、Agential Realismのコア概念であるintra-action（内－作用）の本研究への適用可能性について検討を行った。

The purpose of this study is to understand the understanding of citizen science represented by Japan, such as the measurement of citizen radioactivity, the measurement of radioactivity, the "device" and the "object" of radioactive substances. The main stream of science resists alternative means of development and analysis of the meaning of citizen science. The main stream of science maintains dualistic differentiation and critical theory. In the beginning of the year, the next two points were recorded. 1) The history of radioactivity measurement equipment in civil science: The history of radioactivity measurement in the living environment of Japan, Japan, and the atomic explosion in 1945. In the investigation of the damage situation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it is used to carry out the measurement device, foil detector, gas counter and gas detector (now 2014). Also, at that time, it was of great interest that old-type and traditional industrial potentiometers could be used in the field for cosmic ray measuring (Nakane 2000). In 1954, the fifth Fukuoka incident occurred, and the same machine was used in the same way (1984, 1995). In the 1950s and 1960s, the seminar "Peaceful Use of Atomic Force" was held in the middle and 1960s, and the lecture "Pollution Theory" was held in the middle and 1960s. It is necessary to investigate the possibility of using radiometric equipment developed in the 1950s and 1970s. 2) Citizen Science Analysis: The analysis group of this study is focused on the application of Agential Reality to theoretical physicists. This year, we will discuss the possibility of application of this study based on the identification of basic literature and the concept of intra-action of Agential Reality.
