项目摘要

予備的なものを含むこれまでの調査をもとに、1960～1970年代の「原子核研究将来計画」における高エネルギー加速器の決定にかかわる経緯および日本の高エネルギー物理学研究者集団の組織化の関係に関するトピックスを取り上げて、日本科学史学会、日本物理学会、Asia Pacific Physics Conference (APPC15),　科学技術社会論学会で一般講演の発表を行った。APPC15 の講演については Proceedings への掲載が承認された。それと並行して、「将来計画」の経緯の理解をベースとして、本課題の主たる目標につながる、加速器による高エネルギー素粒子物理学実験の研究と宇宙線の観測による超高エネルギーの素粒子反応の研究の、それぞれの研究者組織の関係とその後の高エネルギー物理学研究所 (KEK) の成立から東京大学宇宙線研究所 (ICRR) の設置に至る経緯、さらには関連分野としての低エネルギー原子核実験の将来計画および、高エネルギー物理と宇宙線研究の拠点が他所にできた後の東京大学原子核研究所自身の将来計画の進め方への影響を念頭に、高エネルギー加速器研究機構（史料室）および東京大学・宇宙線研究所（広報室）において資料調査を行った。1970年代初期は、日本学術会議および文部省の新たな改革方針と相まって、物理学のとくに原子核・素粒子関連の研究者組織の活動の転換点となったことの検証を試みる基礎となると予想している。

The establishment of the Institute of Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR) at the University of Tokyo and the establishment of the Institute of Nuclear Physics (KEK) in the future Research on the impact of future plans of the Institute of Nuclear Research, University of Tokyo, on the research of physics and cosmic rays, University of Tokyo, Institute of Nuclear Research, University of Tokyo, University of Tokyo, Institute of Cosmic Ray Research, University of Tokyo In the early 1970s, Japan's academic conference and the Ministry of Education's new reform policy and the activities of the research organization for nuclear and particle correlation were changed.
