2022年度は、江戸時代に刊行された小袖模様雛形本の中でも、『小倉百人一首』の意匠化に特化したものに注目して研究活動を行った。具体的には、貞享五年（1688）刊『小倉山百首雛形』を中心とし、他に元禄二年（1689）刊『色紙御雛形』や、元禄五年（1692）刊『新編百人一首絵抄』等にも目を配り、それぞれが収載する小袖図案と、本となった百人一首歌や歌人の実人生とが、どのように連関してデザインが生成されているのかを考察した。『小倉山百首雛形』は、『百人一首』の全歌を意匠化した非常に貴重な小袖雛形本でありながら、現存する伝本が少なく従来ほとんど研究が行われてこなかった。そこで、同書の完本を所蔵するJ.フロントリテイリング資料館蔵本の書誌調査、および撮影を経て、全図を通覧した上で考察を行った。同書における『小倉百人一首』の意匠は、和歌に詠まれている事物や景物を素直に取り込んで表現するものが多いものの、和歌内容との連関だけでは説明がつかない不可思議なモチーフも散見される。それらは、和歌とは直接関係のない、作者自身にまつわる説話や歴史的エピソードに目を向けることで、ある程度その意図を読み取ることができた。また、和歌から数段階の連想を経て到達したモチーフもあり、同時代の絵画や工芸品には見られない、テキスタイルデザインならではの諧謔性も看取された。なお、上記の研究成果は、和歌文学会6月例会（於：二松学舎大学）での口頭発表（発表タイトル「小袖模様雛形における文学意匠研究序説」）や、論文「小袖模様雛形における『百人一首』の意匠―『小倉山百首雛形』を中心として―」（『明治大学教養論集』通巻569号、2023年3月）をもって公表した。さらに次年度に向けて、『源氏物語』を意匠化した小袖雛形の抽出、および伝本調査にも着手した。

The results of this research were presented orally at the June Meeting of the Waka Literature Association (at Nishimatsu Gakugi University)("Introduction to the Study of Literary Ideologists on the Prototype of Small Sleeve Model") and in the paper "Ideologists on the Prototype of Small Sleeve Model-" Prototype of 100 Songs of Kobakura Mountain "(Meiji University Academic Collection, No. 569, March 2023). In the next year, the "Genji Monogatari" will be developed into a small sleeve prototype, and the investigation will begin.
