初年度の今年度は、山東京伝と係わりの深い江戸座俳諧宗匠らと大名子弟との俳諧交友関係の資料調査と解明を進めた。山東京伝のパトロンであった大名子弟は俳諧を江戸座俳諧宗匠に師事してその俳諧活動を行い、文化の後援者となっていた。京伝と係わりの深い江戸座俳諧宗匠として存義、晩得、春来などが挙げられる。これら江戸座俳諧宗匠は大名と密接な関係を築いていたことが注目され、大名子弟を後ろ楯として資金面での援助を受け、江戸座俳諧の拡大と俳壇の経営を行ったといえる。そのため江戸座俳諧宗匠と大名子弟との交友関係を彼らが編纂した俳書の調査を行った。このうち江戸座俳諧宗匠の亀成に注目し、亀成追善集『妙智力』から、亀成・菊堂ら江戸座俳諧宗匠と柳沢米翁・真田菊貫ら大名との俳諧交友での密接な繋がりを見出した。また亀成は存義門の俳諧宗匠であり、亀成が係わった俳書から存義門との関係が深いことが分かった。亀成は尼崎藩上屋敷や徳島藩蜂須賀家大名屋敷近くの南八丁堀に住み、俳諧宗匠として尼崎藩主松平亀文ら大名子弟をパトロンとしている実情が明らかとなった。さらに江戸戯作の原点の一つである見立絵本『百化鳥』の作者が亀成であったことから、『百化鳥』は京伝、喜三二、万象亭ほか多くの戯作者に影響を与え、江戸座俳諧と京伝の直接の繋がりが見いだすことができ、論文発表を予定している。加えて、京伝の『通言総籬』に描かれた茶道具と松江藩主松平不昧、吉原見番大黒屋庄六の茶道具について「『通言総籬』に描かれた茶道具―松平不昧と大黒屋庄六所持の茶道具について」（『島根史学会会報』60号）の論文発表を行った。他にも、『新みなし栗』「唐がらし」歌仙分析」（『近世文芸研究と評論』103号）を担当した。享保期から天明期の連句作品を対象に注釈を行い、付合のあり方の考察を行った
