「中世フランス抒情詩における「メタ文脈」の研究」と題した3年間にわたる研究の初年度であった。とくに今年度は南フランスのトルバドゥールによる抒情詩における語り手がその語りかける相手（聴衆・読者）を意識した上での「文脈」をとらえる作業を，とくに写字生の筆者作業を念頭に置いておこなった。具体的に述べよう。トルバドゥールの1206作品を収録するメジャーな　Cという写本がある。また，原写本はいまでは散逸してしまったが，種々の「紙」による写本でほぼ再建できる　a （ベルナルト・アモロスというがある。かれらの，元本を書写する際の姿勢がきわだって相違しているのである。後者については，ベルナルトによる全体の序文がのこされており，写字するときの　Correctores immo corruptores （意訳をほどこすと，テクストの「訂正者だって？いや破壊者だよ」）といういわば彼のモットーが強調されている。いっぽう前者においては全体の序文は付されておらず，写字生の姿はベルナルトの場合と異なり，一見したところ見えない。しかるに最後のトルバドゥールといわれる，写字生の同時代人でおそらくは友人であったギラウト・リキエルの作品を収録する部分では，その詩人の「元本」をその構成も年代順も含めて一言一句そのまま収録したとある。これだけを見ると，ベルナルトの態度と同じであるが，写本冒頭に付された目次と索引に作者名の訂正（の可能性）が明示されていたり，rubrique と呼ばれる各作品冒頭の朱字（「誰誰の作品は以下に始まる」）が多くみられ，かつ，テクスト自体を勝手に直してしまうC写本独自の態度が観察できる。中世南フランスにおける二人の写字生の対照的な態度を比較してみることができた。
