本研究は、近世後期江戸における口語の実態を総体として理解する上で重要な位置をしめながら、その資料整備や具体的な資料性の検証が遅れている「近世スタンダード」（改まった場において武士、知識人、上層町人によって使用された規範的、標準語的な言語）資料について、資料の電子テキスト化・コーパス化による資料整備とその資料性の検証を行い、さらに「近世スタンダード」と「江戸語」との関係性を検討するものである。今年度は、上記目的を達成するために、「近世スタンダード」資料の電子テキスト化および形態論情報付きのコーパス化を目指した。具体的には京都府立大学市村太郎研究室蔵『唐詩選国字解』（服部南郭、安永9（1780）年成立、文化再板）の電子化（JPEGおよびTIFFファイルによる電子化）を行った。しかし、電子テキスト化と形態論情報付きのコーパス化は、研究代表者および研究協力者の都合により、今年度実施することができなかった。次年度において、計画を再調整し、実施を目指したい。また、連携研究者である京都府立大学の市村太郎氏と研究打合せを行い、今後の電子テキスト化および形態論情報付きコーパス化の仕様等について情報交換と検討を行った。さらに、計量文献学及びコーパス言語学に関連する研究書・論文等を収集・講読し、今後実施予定の「近世スタンダード」資料の資料性の検証のための計量文献学的手法の最新知見や技術についての知見を深めた。
