项目摘要

本研究は、英語授業におけるグループワーク（話し合い）に注目し、協働対話による言語理解の深まりと言語使用の更新について、ランゲージングを用いて分析・考察する。そして、語学学習においてプロダクションにつながる協働対話のあり方を提案することを目的としている。本年度は適切性を模索する対話が、学習者の知識構築をより促しているという研究結果（市川、2021）に基づき、協働対話におけるランゲージングの質と量、実際のプロダクションの関連について分析を行った。分析資料は、英語動画作成における台本を修正するグループでの対話を文字データに起こしたものと、完成動画とその台本である。各グループの対話からエピソードを取り出し、文脈を考慮した話し合いがなされているエピソード数とその発言数を示した。次に完成動画におけるスピーチアクトについて、Popovici（2019）を参考に、5つのリッカート尺度で適切性を英語教員とネイティブ教員で評価した。ここで得られた対話における文脈を考慮した発言合計数と、スピーチアクトの適切性評価について統計上有意差が見られた。よって、適切性を模索する対話が多いほど、プロダクションの適切性も高くなることが示唆された。ただし、グループメンバーにおける動画作成タスクの負荷を感じる度合いやトピックの背景知識の理解の違いが、協働対話とプロダクションの質に影響を及ぼしている様子も見受けられた。このことから、協働対話で扱う教材についても検証する必要性が出てきた。これらのことについて、学会等で成果をまとめ発表した。
