项目摘要

令和４年度は、当初の研究計画を土台として、（１）異なる分野を専攻する大学生を対象に職業観・人生観・学習観について半構造化した質問紙を用いた彼らの認識を調査し、得られたデータが英語習得にどのような影響を与えるかを検証した、さらに（２）通常の大学生とはかなり異なる志向性を持つと想定される３名の社会人（ワーキングホリデー経験者）を対象として彼らの職業観・人生観・学習観をナラティブ分析の手法を用いて分析した。その結果、前者の調査・分析においては参加者の回答内容と英語力との間には有為な関係性を認めることはできなかった。一方、後者の調査・分析においては、「報酬を得ながらの真に実践的英語使用」「周囲の人との多面的交流」「社会人としての大きなプレッシャー」等が、学習者の英語力の向上と彼らの英語観や学習観に大きな変化をもたらす可能性が示されたように思われる。この知見は、教室における英語教育の指導においても、①対象言語の本格的・実践的使用、②自己の言語学習の批判的・メタ認知的分析、③理想的L2自己の形成、④独自の学習ストラテジーの有効活用、⑤Growth Mindsetに基づく積極的コミットメントの重要性を改めて強調しているように思われる。（１）において有為な関係を認めることができなかった原因として、本調査の参加者が想定よりも大きく下回ったことや、専攻毎の参加者数にバラつきが見られたこと、自由記述の内容に深みが欠けていたことが挙げられる。令和５年度においてはこの点を改善した調査を再度実施する予定である。また（２）については、得られた結果を令和５年度中に関係学会において発表する。尚、令和４年度末に、上記の研究課題の成果を含め、これまでの研究をまとめた学術書（『言語学習における学習ストラテジーと動機づけ：理論と実践の創造的キュレーション』）をひつじ書房から出版した。

In 2004, the original research plan of the university students was divided into four parts: (1) career, life, study, semi-structured questionnaire, and their understanding of English acquisition.(2) Generally speaking, college students have different aspirations and want to be determined by three social people. The results of the survey, the analysis of the participants, the content of the English force, the relationship between the two sides, the relationship between the two sides. On the one hand, the latter's investigation and analysis, such as "salary and practical English use,""social and multi-faceted communication,""social and social people," etc., learners 'English ability to move up, learning English, and the possibility of change. This knowledge is reflected in the guidance of English education in the classroom,(1) the practical use of target language,(2) the critical cognitive analysis of our own language learning,(3) the formation of ideal L2 self,(4) the effective use of independent learning,(5) the importance of positive thinking based on Growth Mindset, and (6) the emphasis on thinking. (1) The reasons for this are that the participants in this survey have no idea what will happen next time, the number of participants in this survey is unknown, and the content of free reporting is deeply lacking. The survey was carried out again in 2005. (2) The results of the investigation and 5 years of the relationship between the Institute and the report. At the end of the fourth year, the results of the research projects listed above were published in the academic book ("Speech Learning, Learning, Motivation: Theory and Practice of Creation").
