今年度は、2022年5月に山形大学で対面形式で開催された日本比較文化学会国際学術大会において、コロナ禍で海外の大学との交流や大学内での多様な文化背景を持つ国際学生と日本人学生の交流が途絶えがちだった状況の3年間の中での横浜商科大学の学生たちのCOILを利用した異文化交流の試みについて発表を行った。中国、台湾、韓国、アメリカの各大学で日本語と英語を学んでいる学生と日英二言語を使用しての複数回のオンライン同期型交流とその間のメールやパドレット等を用いた非同期型交流は、学生達の自発的な語学学習への強い動機付けへ直結すると共に、各交流相手国の文化や言語への興味喚起へと繋がった。6月には東京Global Gatewayにおいて横浜商科大学の学生が多様な異文化体験、他文化理解学習に参加した。英語自体を学ぶという語学学習とは別に英語を用いての多文化共生やSDGs、貧困等についての学びは学生にとって新鮮な経験であった。大学での事前学習・事後学習も含め学び得た経験と国際的志向性の変化について当日の行動観察や事後のアンケート調査の結果をまとめ、8月に愛知大学で対面開催されたリメディアル教育学会全国大会にて発表を行った。また、その結果を論文としてもまとめ、2023年3月に大正大学研究紀要に掲載された。台湾の致理科技大学とは、2022年度の年間を通して卒業制作協働プロジェクトを実施し、その交流の様子をまとめ、先方の台湾の先生方と共に9月にオンライン形式で開催されたSNA-COIL交流学習実践研究会にて共同発表を行った。

This year, in May 2022, Yamagata University opened its international academic conference on the exchange of overseas universities and diverse cultural backgrounds within the university. Students of Yokohama University of Commerce and Industry exchanged views on international students and Japanese students during the past three years. In universities in China, Taiwan, South Korea, and Armenia, students can learn Japanese and English, and multiple simultaneous exchanges in Japanese and English and non-simultaneous exchanges in between, such as radio and television, are directly connected with the strong motivation for students to achieve self-initiated linguistic learning, and arouse the cultural and linguistic interest of each exchange partner country. In June, students from Yokohama University of Commerce participated in the study of diverse cultures and understanding of other cultures. English self learning and linguistics learning are different from English use, multicultural symbiosis, SDGs, poverty, etc. In August, Aichi University launched a national conference on the theme of "Education in the Future". The results of this paper were published in March 2023 in the Proceedings of Taisho University. In September 2022, Taiwan University of Science and Technology held a joint seminar on communication and learning practice in the form of communication and communication between students and teachers in Taiwan.
