令和4年度は、6月に本研究の理論的研究および事例研究を取りまとめるための理論枠組みおよび方法論を確認し、7月に1893年から1902年にかけての新聞『ウラジオストク』、東北アジア史に関する文献などの資料を調査し、ロシア帝国内の人材管理、中国からの移住および国内移住、民族政策を明らかにする『ロシア史研究』への投稿原稿を作成し、2022年10月15日 にロシア史研究会2022年度年次大会に研究成果報告を実施し、さらに2022年10月28日 にオンラインにてInstitute of Asian Studies of Al-Farabi Kazakh National Universityが開催した国際学術大会“Prospects for the development of Diaspora Studies in the era of globalization, transnationalism, and digitalization” において研究成果発表を行った。同研究所が同月に刊行した論文集（国際会議プロシーディングス）Prospects for the development of Diaspora Studies in the era of globalization, transnationalism, and digitalizationにおいて、Railroad Construction and the Formation of a Labor Diaspora: the Case of Northeastern China and the Russian Far East, 1890s － 1920sという論文を掲載した。2022年11月から2023年3月にかけて収集した資料の整理・分析を行い、令和5年度の研究活動の日程を確認した。
