1. 研究代表者による先行研究に対する評価の整理研究代表者による先行研究(吉井匡「児童ポルノ事件における児童性の認定方法に関する考察―タナー法を用いた年齢推定法の利用について―」井田良ほか編『浅田和茂先生古稀祝賀論文集(下巻)』347頁-369頁(成文堂、2016年))については、各種論文に引用・紹介される一方、(元職を含む)法曹実務家からは批判的見解も寄せられている。そこで、これらの批判的見解について、検討を行っている。2. 児童ポルノ事件における被写体の年齢推定(児童性認定)方法に関する資料収集①外国(A国)で児童ポルノを製造したとして日本で起訴された事件において、日本人医師が、当該国とは別の近隣国(B国)の統計を参考に、タナー法を用いて児童性認定したことを証拠として、有罪を宣告した事例を収集した(公刊物未登載)。②タナー法以外の児童性認定方法として、手のX線写真から、骨の成長で年齢推定を行う方法があることを探知した。3. 研究分担者との実験実施にかかる打ち合わせ研究分担者とともに令和6年度に実施予定の、児童ポルノ事件における被写体の年齢推定(児童性認定)方法に関する実験の打ち合わせを対面及びオンラインで随時行なっている。
