2022年度はコロナ禍が収束しない中で、研究計画を変更し、まず、異文化背景をもつ若者への量的調査のデザインを綿密に行って設問を完成させた。設問は、個人の特性（日本語能力を含む学力、ソーシャルスキル、パーソナリティ、民族的アイデンティティ、社会適応努力）、社会環境（教育環境、家族からの支援、地域との関係、人間関係）の２領域から構成した。その上で、法務省保護局に便宜供与を依頼し、全国の保護観察所に係属している異文化背景をもつ若年（40歳未満）の男性保護観察対象者への調査の実施を許諾していただいた。調査期間は2023年4月と5月の２か月間とし、その間に事件係属する全員を被調査者候補とすることとし、該当の保護観察所に300余の調査票を送付した。犯罪者群の回答の単純集計が済むのは2023年夏頃の見込みであり、犯罪者群の回答数や属性に合わせて、同年秋には一般群への調査を実施する予定である。「外国からの移入者が集住する日本国内外の都市」を視察する計画は実施できていないが、2023年１月に群馬県で開催された「外国人集住都市会議おおいずみ2022」に参加し、関係の中央省庁（法務省、文科省、文化庁、総務省、厚労省）と、メンバー都市の自治体の外国人統合政策の実態と課題の動向を知ることができた。国・自治体とも日本語教育の拡充、住居支援、就労支援の施策を行なっているが、現状では、国全体として外国人受入れの方向性が定まっておらず、したがって、体系的な多文化共生政策が策定されていないことを知った。また、自治体の行政能力や財政力によって社会統合政策にばらつきがあることが分かった。

In January 2023, Gunma will not open the "Foreign Residents Meeting in 2022" to participate in the Central Ministry of Relations (Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Arts, Culture, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs). Japanese language education, housing support, and policy support for the implementation of the current situation, the orientation of the country as a whole, the orientation of foreign participation, and the system of multicultural coexistence policy. The administrative capacity of the autonomous body and the financial strength of the autonomous body are related to the social integration policy.
