2022年度は、時事通信社から党派性ごとに仕分けされた内閣支持率・不支持率データ、経済評価データを購入し、計4回のオンライン上でのサーヴェイ実験を実施した。また、経済に関する情報を測るためのデータとして、日本の全国紙における「経済」という言葉でヒットする新聞記事からなるデータベースを作り、肯定的経済情報・否定的経済情報を指標化した。上記のデータを使って、（１）経済投票において否定的な経済情報や経済評価に対して内閣不支持率が促されやすいことを示す「不平の非対称性（grievance asymmetry）」、（２）党派性によって経済情報が誤って受容され経済評価や政府への支持が影響を受ける党派性に動機づけられた推論（partisan motivated reasoning）が、日本の有権者にどのように作用しているのかを検証した。分析結果を、1本の海外査読誌論文、1本の日本語査読誌論文、1本の海外の大学出版会からの書籍内分担執筆原稿として公表した。また現在、『日本の経済投票―不平の非対称性と党派性から見る経済と選挙』（仮）という書籍（単著）を執筆中である。
