フーゴー・プロイスおよびカール・シュミットのヴァイマル憲法48条論や緊急命令権に関する議論に取り組んだ他、ウィーン大学のケルゼン研究所を訪問し、ケルゼン研究所所長のオレコフスキー教授の協力を得て、資料調査も実施できた。プロイスの国際法論に関する査読付き論文を１本、日本国憲法４３条の国民代表を論じた紀要論文２本を執筆した他、イタリア・メナージョのヴィラ・ヴィゴーニで開催された、カール・シュミット『大地のノモス』の国際研究集会に参加して、研究報告（Nomos der Erde und die ostasiatische Weltordnung)を行った他、ウィーン大学法学部においても、プロイスとシュミットのヴァイマル憲法48条論をめぐる講演（Artikel 48 der Weimarer Verfassung: Hugo Preuss und Carl Schmitt im Streit ueber den "Diktaturartikel")を行った。いずれも高い評価を得て、前者の原稿はドイツの雑誌への投稿を打診され、後者については、オーストリアの雑誌への投稿を打診されて、現在独語論文の公刊に向けた作業を行っている。そのほか、カール・シュミット研究で著名なラインハルト・メーリング教授とハイデルベルクで開催されたマックス・ヴェーバー研究会で再会して親交を深めることができ、メーリング教授の自宅を複数回訪問して、シュミットの一次資料に関する貴重な情報を得ることもできた。今後は、それらの情報に基づき、シュミットの一次資料の調査にも取り組んでいきたい。
