项目摘要

本年度は、基本モデルの構築に主な研究時間を当てた。具体的には以下のような2本の論文の執筆を開始した。いずれも2部門モデルである。まず、2部門モデルを内生出生かつ年金制度の存在する経済に拡張した。2部門モデルでの年金制度の持続性の研究はすでにHamada, Kaneko and Yanagihara(2021)として発表されているが、年金制度の持続性にとって重要な要因である出生率については外生的であると仮定していた。共同研究者であるAntoine Le Richeとの分析により、内生出生と年金制度を同時に考えることで動学的性質が大きく変わることが分かった。具体的には、2部門かつ内生出生のもとでは年金制度の存在により利子率の変動が相対価格に影響を与え、それが出生率に影響を与えるという経路が存在する。したがって、年金制度が拡充した際、相対価格の変化により出生率が上がるようなことがあれば、年金制度の拡充は年金制度の持続性にとって負担にならないということになる。動学経路の分析がかなり複雑になっているので、現状では年金制度の拡充と年金制度の持続性について明確な結果は得られていないが、今後よりクリアな結果を導く予定である。もう一つのモデルは、同じく２部門モデルにおける内生出生モデルであるが、子育て費用に２種類の財が必要であるという状況を考えている。このことにより、例え子育て費用が増大したとしても、相対価格の変化により、賃金が上昇して出生率が上昇するというパラドキシカルな結果を得ることができた。
