本研究の目的は、2015年の99か国・20製造業のデータを用いて、国レベルの貿易が産業レベルの産出量に与える影響を実証的に推定して、二つの問い (i) 国の貿易は産業レベルの産出量を有意に増加させるか？ (ii) その影響は同質産業よりも差別化産業の方が大きいかに答えることである。令和4年度は、第一段階として実証分析及び論文を仮完成させ、第二段階として国内の学会で研究経過報告を行いフィードバックをいただいた。そのフィードバックを元に論文の修正を繰り返した。本研究の付加価値は以下の通りである。 (1) 貿易と成長の実証文献に貢献する。第一に、過去の貿易と成長に関する実証研究は国レベルの産出量への影響を分析してきたのに対して、本研究は産業レベルの産出量への影響を分析する。これにより、産業間での不均等な影響が分析可能となる。第二に、Rauch (1999) に基づく産業の差別化指標を、Frankel and Romer (1999) の回帰式の産業レベルバージョンに導入する。これにより、同質産業よりも差別化産業において、より影響が大きいかどうか推定することができる。 (2) 制度 (institutions) と成長の文献にも貢献する。第一に、制度の違いが経済成長の違いの重要な要因の一つであることは知られていたが、本研究でも制度が成長に有意な影響を与えることを確認する。第二に、本研究は貿易が制度の代替的な成長要因となることを示す。

The purpose of this research is to use the data of the country's manufacturing industry in 2015 and to verify the impact of the country's trade on the output of the industry. Second question: (i) Does the country's trade intentionally increase the output of the industry? (ii)The impact of homogeneous industries is different from that of differentiated industries. In the fourth year, the first stage of research and analysis was completed, and the second stage of research and analysis was completed. The paper was revised. This study focuses on the following issues: (1)Trade and growth evidence literature contribution. First, the empirical study on the relationship between past trade and growth analyzes the impact of national trade on output, and this study analyzes the impact of industrial trade on output. Analysis of possible impacts of inequality between industries. Second, Rauch (1999) introduces the basic industrial differentiation index, Frankel and Romer (1999) introduces the backward industrial differentiation index. The impact of homogeneous industries on differentiated industries is estimated. (2)institutions and literature. First, the important factors of institutional growth and institutional violations are identified in this study. Second, this study shows the main reasons for the growth of trade system substitution.
