公共投資を巡る世代間の利害対立に焦点を当てるため、単純なケースとして、世代内で同質的な個人から成る簡単な世代重複型経済成長モデルを構築し、政治経済均衡での経済政策の特徴及び経済成長パターンの性質を分析した。近日中に得られた成果をまとめた学術論文を国際学術雑誌に投稿する予定である。本研究で構築した理論モデルの概要は以下のとおりである。本研究では政府が所得課税と公債発行を財源として公共財供給と公共投資を実施し、経済政策の規模（資本所得税率、労働所得税率、公共財供給量、公共投資量、公債発行量）が毎期の確率的投票を通じて決定される状況を分析する。まず、ベンチマークとして財政ルールが存在しないケースでの政治経済均衡を導出し、その後公債発行量に上限が設定されるケースでの政治経済均衡を導出する。本政治経済均衡としてはMarkov完全政治経済均衡に着目する。Markov完全政治経済均衡では政策規模が状態変数（私的物的資本水準、公共資本水準、公債残高水準）の関数として表され、個人は現在の経済政策が将来の状態変数への影響を通じて将来の経済政策に対してどのような影響を及ぼすかを考慮に入れて投票を行う。本研究で得られた結果は以下のとおりである。まず、経済政策の規模が状態変数の簡単な関数形として表されるMarkov完全政治経済均衡が存在することが示される。また、政治経済均衡上での経済政策の規模や経済成長率に関する比較静学を行い、人口成長率の上昇等が経済政策や経済成長パターンに及ぼす影響を詳細に分析する。
