令和4年度は、研究実施計画に基づき、4月より先行研究を開始し、今年度の研究内容を改めて精査するとともに、特定保健用食品に対する消費者認知に対する調査分析と、トクホマークをブランド論的視点から分析するための調査分析に対する事前準備を行った。第１の特定保健用食品に対する消費者認知に関する調査研究に関しては、経済行動学のゲイン・ロスフレームおよびサービス・マーケティングで議論されている効果の便益遅延性概念を特定保健用食品に適用し、これらの要因が特定保健用食品の消費者認知にどのような影響を及ぼすのか考察した。前者のゲイン・ロスフレームを使用した分析では，ロスフレームよりもゲインフレームの方が WTP（Willingness To Pay）を高めることを明らかになったが、購買意思決定に及ぼす影響は確認できなかった。なお、本研究の成果は、10月に開催された日本マーケティング学会のカンファレンスで報告し、オーラルセッションのベストペーパー賞を獲得するとともに、論文としてその成果を公表している。また、後者の便益遅延性を特定保健用食品に適用した研究は、現在、その分析結果を論文にまとめている最中である。そして、上述した研究に対する調査分析の目途が立った9月以降、第2の研究課題であるトクホマークのブランド論的視点からの調査分析に対する検討を開始した。当初、令和4年度内に調査を実施する予定だったが、第1の調査結果を受け、調査方法を見直したため、予定より若干遅れ、令和4年度は調査デザインを確定するのに留まった。なお、上述した研究を遂行するため、4月以降、月に一度のオンライン研究会を実施するとともに、半年に一度（令和4年9月と令和5年3月）に対面で研究会を実施し、研究課題に対する相互理解を図るとともに、円滑な研究実施のための打ち合わせを行った。
