本研究は、人口動態調査および人口動態調査 人口動態職業・産業別統計を利用し、女性の婚姻状態と妊娠および出産の結果の関係の実態及び動向について、統計的分析を行うことを目的としている。本研究の分析期間は2020年度人口動態職業・産業別調査　死産票、出生票、死亡票までである。2015年度人口動態職業・産業別調査までは、調査年度から2年後の4月にデータが公表されていたため、本研究も、今年度を開始年とした。しかし、2020年度人口動態職業・産業別調査については、データの公開時期が遅くなったため(結果として、2023年3月に公開された)、計画を変更し、本年度は、乳児死亡と1歳時生存を識別するために必要な人口動態職業・産業別調査の出生票と人口動態調査の死亡票の最適な接合方法をあらかじめ検討するため、2022年度4月時点で公開されていた2015年度人口動態職業・産業別調査までを用いて接合方法を試行した。試行の結果、「出生児都道府県市区町村」「性別」「嫡出か否か」「出生年月日」「母親の出生年月日」「単胎か多胎か」「出生順位」に加えて、「これらすべての指標の一致するケースがあるか否か」という指標を作成して識別変数に加えた場合の接合率がもっともよく、人口動態調査の死亡票の約90%が人口動態職業・産業別調査　出生票に接合されることが分かった。このほか、危機的妊娠の支援としての特別養子縁組に着目し、全国23か所の特別養子縁組実施団体について、危機的妊娠の支援のありようを整理した。また、匿名出産の取り組みをしている医療法人聖粒会慈恵病院を訪問し、支援員にヒアリングを行った。ただし、踏み込んだ内容であるため、公表は差し控えることとした。
