项目摘要

本研究の目的は、外国人非集住地域の中国帰国者の境界文化の実証研究を通して、地方都市における多文化共生社会の構築可能性を探究するとともに、外国籍住民との多文化共生実態を明らかにするための学術的分析枠組みの構築を目指すことにある。具体的には、外国人非集住地域として長崎市と熊本市に焦点を定めて、中国帰国者の境界文化の実態解明と境界溶解の成立条件を探究するために、中国帰国者を生み出すそれぞれの歴史的文脈を明らかにするための史料の収集と分析、中国帰国者へのアンケート調査とインタビュー調査、中国帰国者と外国籍住民の認識と受容態度を明らかにするための一般住民へのアンケート調査と行政関係者等へのインタビュー調査を行う。これらの調査成果をもとに、地方都市における多文化共生社会を構築するための必要条件の抽出と、日本型多文化共生社会の構築に貢献することを目指していく。初年度の2022年は予備調査として、長崎市と熊本市を中心に、当事者たちを対象にインタビュー調査を行った。またアンケート調査に向けて、長崎在住中国帰国者2世の生活実態と問題点などを踏まえつつ、2022年に実施したパイロット調査で用いたアンケート票の見直しと修正作業を行った。これらの研究活動を通して、中国帰国者を支援する民間団体とのネットワークを構築しつつ、口頭発表を9回(学会の大会のほか、公開講座、公開研究会と公開シンポジウムなどを含む)行ったほか、論文4本の執筆(うち1本は英語、1本は韓国語(近刊予定))にも取り組んだ。

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of multi-cultural symbiosis in non-concentrated areas of non-resident areas, such as the study of Chinese culture, the possibility of multicultural symbiosis in local cities, and the analysis of multicultural symbiosis among residents of foreign nationality.
