项目摘要

本研究の目的は，幼児期初期から縦断的に行動観察を実施し，人の視線指向性が形成されていくプロセスの解明及び，視線指向性と社会性の関係を検討することである。乳幼児の視線指向性に関する先行研究は，モニターに映した条件刺激に対する子どもの追視測定が中心であり，社会性をテーマにしたものではなかった。そのため，本研究は視線指向性と社会性の相互作用の発達メカニズムを解明することを狙い計画した。研究初年次である令和４年度は，まず研究代表者が所属する機関において，本研究に関する倫理審査と承認を受けた。次に，実際に調査を行う保育所と認定こども園の施設長に施設の使用許可を得た。その後，園児の保護者および，担任保育者に対してインフォームドコンセントを実施し，調査協力への同意を経て調査を開始した。データ収集は，幼児の行動観察，保護者への質問紙調査，保育者への半構造化面接を実施した。保護者への質問紙調査を年度前期と後期の２回，担任保育者への半構造化面接を年度前期と後期の２回実施したため，計画通りに推移したと言える。一方，幼児の行動観察については，施設ごとに隔週でビデオカメラでの撮影を実施する計画であったが，令和４年度は感染症等の状況を鑑み，月１回以上の撮影となった。本研究は縦断研究のため，令和５年度もさらなるデータ収集を継続していく。その蓄積によって，人の視線指向性と社会性の関係を明らかにするための質の高い根拠となることが期待できる。そして令和５年度後半にかけて，収集したデータの分析と学会での報告を行う。
