项目摘要

諸外国の先行研究から、中高強度身体活動を1日合計60分行うことは、子どもの生活習慣病の危険因子、骨密度、体力といった身体的側面に加え、身体活動に伴う脳機能への影響からメンタルヘルス、学業成績、社会性といった心理・社会的側面においてもポジティブな影響を与えることが報告されている。しかしながら、日本の小学生における中高強度身体活動の実態と、1日合計60分の中高強度身体活動を達成するために必要な1日歩数については未知である。そこで本研究では、小学生の中高強度身体活動の実態と身体活動ガイドライン達成に必要な1日歩数の検討を目的とした。2022年度は、岡山県の小学生を対象に身体活動（座位行動、歩数、低強度身体活動、中高強度身体活動）、体格（身長、体重）、体力（文科省新体力テスト8項目）を調査することができた。身体活動は、ActiGraph社製の加速度計ActiGraph（AG）によって調査し、AGは国際的に標準化された身体活動量評価手順に準じて平日、休日を含む連続した7日間、入浴などの水中での活動時を除き、起床時から就寝時まで腰部に装着した。体格および体力は、小学校において実施されている身体測定および体力テストの結果を調査対象校から提供を受けた。これらのことから、おおよそ当初の予定通り、身体活動、体格、体力、その他の生活習慣等の調査を実施できた。今後は、これまでに得られたデータ分析を進め、学会発表、学術論文等への成果公表の準備を行う。加えて、同様の調査を小学校に依頼し、規模を拡大し調査を実施する。
