项目摘要

近年、数の側面に自発的に焦点を当てる傾向が、数能力や算数の成績と関係することが明らかになってきた。しかしながら現時点では、数への自発的焦点化が行われる文脈の多様性が考慮されていなため、基礎研究と現実のギャップが大きい。そこで本研究では、数への自発的焦点化を幅広い文脈で測定するため、子どもに個別実施する課題のかわりに、保護者評定の尺度を開発し、家庭環境が数への自発的焦点化に及ぼす影響を検討する。今年度は、まず、数への自発的焦点化に関する行動リスト（いろいろな物を数える、何かに挑戦した数を数える）を24項目作成した。そして、3歳から就学前（6歳）の子どもをもつ保護者287名を対象に、まったくしない―いつもする、の5件法で評定を求めた。また、同じ保護者に、数への興味尺度、家庭数活動尺度の評定と3種類の数能力（数唱，数字の読み，足し算）の測定（自身の子どもに実施）を依頼した。行動リストの探索的因子分析を行った結果、3因子構造が妥当と考えられ、因子順に「出来事」「指」「物」と命名した。各因子において負荷量が高い項目から下位尺度を構成しα係数を算出したところ .85, .82, .77であった。次に，数への興味尺度とSFONの下位尺度との月齢を統制した偏相関係数を算出したところ，「出来事」.49,「指」.32,「物」.49と,「指」との相関が弱かったが，他の２つは中程度であった。さらに，数能力との偏相関を求めた結果，「出来事」と「数唱」「読み」「計算」間で弱い相関がみられ（順に .26, .26, .29），「物」は「計算」のみに弱い相関（.21）があり，「指」とはほとんど相関がなかった。また，家庭数活動の下位尺度（直接数活動と間接数活動）との偏相関は .37から .56であった。以上の結果から，今回作成したSFON尺度は一定の信頼性と妥当性を有すると考えられた。
