令和4年度は国際共修プログラムの教育効果の検証のため、すでに収集済みの学生記述の分析と学生への聞き取り調査を行った。加えて大学における国際共修コミュニティー拡大への手がかりを得るために、研究者が担当する教養科目において「国際共修に参加すること」に関するアンケート調査を実施した。記述分析においては、特に2019年度と2020年度の国際共修参加者の記述に着目し、国際共修の「場所」の再構築を試みた。その結果、国際共修「空間」に存在した言語・文化資源の豊かさが一部ではあるが見えてきた。また学びの「場所」を構築するのに、休憩中の活動や準備活動など、様々な時空間が絡み合っていることも明らかになった。さらに、自己評価の高低に関わらず「場所」の協働構築がそれぞれのグループ内で行われていることも明らかになったと同時に、協働構築した「場所」が言語能力の自己評価を左右している可能性を示唆しており、コンピテンスの協働構築性と関連深いと考える。聞き取り調査については、移動を伴うプログラムの実施の多くがコロナ禍でR5年3月の実施となったため、R4年度は主に移動を伴わない(オンラインの)プログラムの描写および学習成果(教育効果)について、７名の学生の聞き取り調査を行った。今回の聞き取り調査では、海外協定校からの参加者2名の協力を得ることができ、学びの「場所」のより厚い記述につながると考える。またアンケート調査では82名から回答を得ることができた。一次分析では興味の度合いの選択理由についてカテゴリ分類を行ったが、同じカテゴリに分類される理由でも興味の度合いの選択が異なるケースが見られ、「興味がある」「興味がない」という選択肢自体、文脈から切り離すことはできず、「国際共修に参加すること」を学生個人の「積極性」「自主性」のみならず、社会的に位置付けることの重要性の示唆を得た。

The survey was conducted in March 2005 and March 2004. This year's survey was conducted by two participants of the Overseas Agreement School. 82 responses were received.
