本研究は、修学の意思はあるが、病気やけがによる治療のために長期入院し、退院後も自宅療養する（以下「病気療養中」と言う。）等、やむを得ず高等学校に登校することが困難な生徒等への継続的な「教育保障」の実現を図るため、「病気療養中の高校生のための継続的な教育保障促進プログラム（モデル案）」を開発・実施し、病気療養中で修学の意思のある高校生の教育保障を促進することを目的として、研究期間内に次の①から④までの内容を計画している。①各都道府県教育委員会等で行う病気療養中の生徒への教育保障の実際についての調査の実施、②調査結果に基づいて、病気療養中の各段階（「入院前の段階」「入院中の段階」「退院後及び自宅療養の段階」）で教育保障を行うために必要な項目についての「病気療養中の高校生のための教育保障チェックリスト（試案）」の作成、③試案を活用した「病気療養中の高校生のための継続的な教育保障促進プログラム（試案）」の開発を行うこと、④研究協力校（６校程度）において「促進プログラム（試案）」に基づいた支援の実施と評価を行うこと、⑤最終的に「病気療養中の高校生のための継続的な教育保障促進プログラム（モデル案）」を提案すること。令和４年度は、①のうち、文科省の事業報告書や各都道府県のホームページから実際に行われている病気療養中の生徒への教育保障の実際についての情報収集を行ったが、ホームページからの情報収集だけでは限界があった。また、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響もあり都道府県等へ出向いての情報収集等も困難であった。令和４年度の研究成果としては、ホームページから病気療養中の生徒への教育保障の実際に関する情報収集を行ったことの他、日本特殊教育学会第60回大会で自主シンポジウムを開催し、話題提供者やフロアーの方から各地域の病気療養中の高校生への支援の現状と課題についての情報収集を行えたことをあげる。

In the fourth year of this year, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Liberal Arts issued a report on the implementation of information collection in the field of health care and education in each prefecture. It is difficult to collect information from the city government. The research results of Y2K and Y2K are presented in the information collection on the implementation of educational security for students in medical rehabilitation. The 60th General Meeting of the Japan Special Education Society is held to promote the development of independent education. The topic provider is the information collection on the current situation and topic of support for college students in medical rehabilitation in various regions.
