项目摘要

本研究課題では，本研究では，種々の空間経済モデルの均衡状態の特性を統一的に理解しうるアプローチによって，空間経済学分野で蓄積されてきた知見を体系化することを目指している．このためにまず，交通工学および関連分野で研究が進められてきた確率的均衡概念と，国際貿易論で研究が進められてきた重力モデルとの対応関係を明らかにし，近年活発に研究されている消費者の通勤を明示化した都市経済学モデルが同一の枠組みで記述できることを明らかにすることを目指して研究を行なった．2022年度は，交通工学分野で研究されてきた確率的均衡モデルと国際貿易分野で研究されてきた重力型のモデルとの対応関係の整理を目的として研究を進めた．交通工学分野では，地点間の集計的なフロー（通勤パターンなど）を表現するためにエントロピー最大化モデルが開発・実用化されてきた．一方，国際貿易論では，国家間の貿易パターンに興味があり，経済学理論と整合的な形で重力モデルが導入されて以降，研究が飛躍的に進展していた．特に，本年度は，貿易パターンの多様な相関構造を表現しようとするモデルに注目し，このモデルと交通工学分野で開発されたnGEVモデルとの対応を明らかにすることで，2つの分野において独自に開発されてきたモデルの対応関係を明らかにした．特に，交通工学分野のモデルについては等価な最適化問題に変換する手続きによって，大規模な問題を効率的に解けるが，経済学分野のモデルにはそのような変換が知られていないことから，そうした変換の実行可能性に注目して研究を進めた．ただし，2022年の研究の範囲では一般均衡型の貿易モデルに対する等価最適化問題の構築には成功していない．
