2022年度は下記に示した「手順①～④」を実施することで、路地空間の発生から、近年見られる消滅に至る変化の特徴を明らかにした。手順①：無接道敷地の配置図整備のための調査・整備を行った。研究にあたり、前回調査時（平成22年）に申請者が作成した「接道状況調査図」の最新版（令和4年）を作成、そのための現地調査を行った。その結果、約12年の期間に路地空間の約1割ほどが消滅していたことが明らかになった。手順②：研究対象資料の特徴および資料相互の整合・適合性を検証した。調査の対象は路地空間を構成する個々の無接道敷地とそれらから構成される路地としており、これらの敷地と権利状況との整合及びこれらの変化について考察した。対象時点は無接道敷地の救済手法適用において重要な情報である建築基準法の「基準時（昭和25年）」、明治40年（権利状況がわかる最古の時点）・平成22年（先行調査時）・令和4年（今回調査実施時）とし、各々の対象資料における敷地形状・位置についての精度検証を行った。その結果、どの資料（古い順から京都地籍図、京都市明細図、接道状況調査図、現地調査図）についても概ね合致しており、本研究の仕様に際して精度上支障のない範囲にあるものと判定した（たとえば戦時中の占領軍関係施設の位置の一致（京都市明細図―接道状況調査図）等）。手順③：「京都市明細図―接道状況調査図」間の用途および路地・敷地形状の変化の調査を行った。その結果、昭和26年時から平成22年時の間に「無接道敷地ではなくなった」路地空間は、多くが、住宅用途のほか、共同住宅・ガレージ等の用途へ転換していることが確認できた。手順④：無接道敷地救済手法の提案のため、歴史的細街路沿いの建物更新を可能にする「一建築物戸別更新手法」の検討を行った。
