项目摘要

邪鬼の歴史において空白地帯である平安時代後期の実態を探るため、まずは研究の基盤となる基礎資料の収集に努め、通史の編年を行なった。制作年代が明らかな基準作例および、同時代の作と措定される重要作例を取り上げて表にまとめ、参考資料と写真資料との紐付けを進めた。通史の編年を通して得られた邪鬼の造形的知見については、その知見の一部を『国華』1525号に論文としてまとめた。また従来、鬼神像全般に関する記事が認められることが指摘される『七大寺日記』および『七大寺巡礼私記』について改めて検討した。邪鬼に関する記事に特化して整理し、とくに造形的な価値が論じられた邪鬼について、史料や現存作例を手掛かりに様式検討を進めた。史料的観点から平安時代後期における邪鬼の造形的な特徴について考察を加え、この時期に評価された邪鬼の造形について理解を深めた。定朝の作例が評価されていないこと、また現代では古代の代表的な作例とされる法隆寺金堂四天王像邪鬼や、西大寺四王堂四天王像邪鬼についても注目されていないことが明らかとなった。ここで得られた知見は駒澤大学『文化』第40号に論文としてまとめた。このほか、採用準備期間から研究を進めてきた和歌山・慈尊院四天王像邪鬼について美術史学会例会にて口頭発表を行なった。本像自体は鎌倉時代の作例だが、今回平安時代後期の作例に関する知見を深めたことで、従来の成果報告に加えて、次年度の本研究課題へとつながる新たな考察の手がかりを得ることができた。

The history of evil spirits is blank, and the state of the late Heian era is explored. The basic data of the study is collected and the chronology of the general history is conducted. The production date is different from the benchmark example, the contemporaneous work is different from the important example, the reference data is different from the new payment. The Chronicle of the General History of the People's Republic of China "Seven Temples Diary" and "Seven Temples Private Record" are all related to the record of ghosts and gods. The history of evil spirits and the existing examples are discussed in detail. The historical data points from the late Heian period to the characteristics of the evil ghost's shape. For example, the four heavenly kings of the Golden Hall of Falun Temple and the four heavenly kings of the West Temple are like evil ghosts. This is the knowledge that Komazawa University's "Culture" paper No. 40. During the preparation period, the study was carried out. The four heavenly kings of Wakayama·Zizun Temple were like evil spirits. The regular meeting of the Art History Society was held. The original image is an example of the Kamakura era, and an example of the late Heian era is a deep understanding of the results of the study. The next year's research topic is a new investigation.
