ヒトの脳内における多感覚統合の再較正（知覚経験に基づく変化）において，多感覚事象の発生源に関する観察者の推定（因果推定）がどのように影響するか解明するための心理実験を実施した。加えて，得られた成果について学会及び国際査読誌で発表した。本年度の具体的な成果は以下の通りである。（１）時間ずれのある光と音を数分間観察することで時間ずれに対する再較正が生じ，視聴覚の同時性知覚が変容することが示されている（時間的再較正）。本年度以前に実施した心理実験により，時間的再較正が因果推定の影響を受ける可能性が示された。本年度はこの知見について取りまとめを行い，学術論文として国際査読誌で成果発表を行った。（２）時間的再較正は時間ずれを1回観察するだけでも生じる（急速再較正）。急速再較正は長期の順応に伴う再較正とは異なるメカニズムに基づいている可能性が先行研究により示唆されていた。そこで本研究では，因果推定から受ける影響が両者の間で同一であるか否かを調べるための心理実験を行った。複数の実験の結果，急速再較正は長期の順応を伴う再較正とは異なり，因果推定からの影響を受けず，多感覚事象間のタイミングに基づく関係性にのみ依存して生じることが明らかになった。この成果について，学会および国際査読誌で公表するための準備を進めた。（３）本研究のプロジェクトおよびその派生プロジェクトに関する研究成果について，上記の学術論文に加え，国内の学会および研究会で対外発表を行った。そのうち2件の学会発表については，学術大会優秀発表賞を受賞した。
