McCullaghの統計モデルの圏論的特徴づけに基づいて、グルーのパラドクスの定式化を行なった。この圏論的枠組みにおいては、合理的な帰納推論を可能にするような妥当な統計モデルはある種の自然性を満たすことが要求される。まず、「グルー仮説」「グリーン仮説」を標本空間上の確率分布族として定式化し、記述の枠組みを取り替える「グルー化」を一種の変数変換、即ち標本空間の変換の族として定式化した。その上で、ある固定された応答尺度の下で、グリーン仮説は圏論的枠組みにおいて妥当な要求される自然性を満たすことができるのに対して、グルー仮説はこの条件を満たすことができないことを示した。ただし、こうした結果は、緑/青を基礎的とする枠組みからグルー/ブリーンを基礎的とする枠組みへと移行する「グルー化」の変換によって反転されてしまう。そのため、「上のような合理的帰納推論の基準がこのグルー化変換の下で不変でない」ということを以てして提起されたパラドクスへの解決は十分ではない、と論じる対称性論証が問題となる。これを「記述的グルーのパラドクス」本研究では、圏論的な観点から見ると「グルー化」が、妥当な変換に要求される自然性を満たさない非整合的な変換であり、そうした自然性を満たす典型的な単位系の間の変換（例えば、メートル法とヤードポンド法との変換）とは本質的に異なることを示した。それ故、記述的グルーのパラドクスで問題となった対称性論証は、実は「対称性」とは言い難い変換に訴えており、説得力を持たないことが結論できた。こうした結果を論文にまとめ国際誌に投稿した。1件目は不受理となったため修正を行なった。直近に再投稿予定である。
