本報告研究の目的は、鎌倉幕府と御家人の関係性（御家人制）について、その濃淡が生じる要因として人的側面があると仮定し、検討することによって、幕府の御家人支配の実態を解明することである。本年度の研究成果は、大きく以下の三つである。１．御家人役賦課の具体像：御家人制内の濃淡そのものをより具体化する基礎作業として、御家人制を成立させる御恩と奉公の二要素のうち、奉公にあたる御家人役を素材に幕府の御家人把握を検討した。先行研究では、多種多様な種類をもつ御家人役を実際の軍事行動である軍役・経済的賦課である京都大番の区分、あるいは臨時的賦課である臨時役・恒例的賦課である恒例役の区分でとらえる。一方で賦課の主体である幕府を中心とした区分はなされていない。現在、上記問題意識に基づき、賦課の実態から御家人役の再分類を試みている。２．幕府による御家人所領内の公田数把握：１と関連して、御家人役賦課の基礎単位である公田を幕府がどのように捉え直しているのか検討した。大田文や大田文に準ずる一国平均役賦課台帳の田数比較を通して、一国内にも公田数が固定される地域とその都度把握されなおされる地域が存在することを明らかにした。また十四世紀初頭には、幕府が公田把握を十三世紀初頭段階にさかのぼる方針を有していたという見通しを得た。本成果については現在成稿中である。３．諏訪地域での史料研究：御家人制内の濃淡がより如実にうかがえる東国周縁地域のうち、信濃国（長野県）の史料群を重点的に調査した。信濃国で中世史料が豊富に残る諏訪大社では、文書保管や後世の文書創作などに特徴があり、慎重に史料批判をする必要がある。そのため、特に鎌倉期文書の多い諏訪上社社家守矢家所蔵の文書について史料調査を行った。得られた知見は、2023年内刊行予定の書籍に収載予定である。
