项目摘要

中学生，高校生が英語の語彙学習の方法（語彙学習方略）をどのように変化させるのかについて検討するため，①中学生，高校生を対象とした縦断的な調査研究，および②高校生の効果的な語彙学習方略を指導する実践研究，に従事した。① 中学生，高校生の用いる語彙学習方略の変化とその要因について検討を行うため，質問紙調査を実施した。中学校，高校各3校において，2021年度中学１年生，高校１年生であった生徒を対象に調査を開始しており，今年度は２年目の調査を実施した。質問紙調査項目は，語彙学習方略，語彙学習に対する信念，目標（内田， 2021）であり，合わせて語彙知識の多さを測定する語彙サイズテスト（相澤・望月，2010）も実施した。質問紙のデータ入力，語彙サイズテストの採点およびデータ入力を終えており，これから1-2年目の変化および要因の関連について，交差遅延モデルを用いた分析を実施する。なお，語彙サイズテストの結果について各学校の教員に返却した。② 効果的な語彙学習方略の学校現場における指導の効果と，学習方略を取り入れるプロセスについて検討した。県立高校の１クラスにおいて，英語教師と連携し，高校１年生時点から学習方略について指導を行っており，今年度は実践の３年目であった。３年間の調査の結果，学習方略を明示的に教えた後，普段の授業でその方略を日常的に意識させたり使わせたりする機会を取り入れることで，効果的な学習方略の使用が長期的に増えていたことが明らかになった。ただし，受験などの負担にさらされると，一部の生徒は丸暗記的な学習に頼ってしまう様子も確認されたため，新たに学習方略を振り返る指導を作成，実施した。生徒の卒業前に12名を対象にインタビューを実施しており，指導を受けた生徒の学習方略の変化の個人差の要因についてさらに検討を行う。なお，この研究の1年目の成果について論文掲載が決定した。
