项目摘要

本研究は、2000年代後半に起きた年越し派遣村に代表される反貧困運動を対象として、社会運動がいかにして貧困という社会問題を定義・枠付けし、またどのようにして様々な分野の社会運動組織と連携することによって、マスコミや世論だけでなく政策決定にまで影響を与えることができたのかについて、社会学的に明らかにすることを目的としている。以上の研究内容について、本年度は第一に、方法論の再検討から着手した。これまで用いてきた社会学的な方法に加えて、政治学的な方法についても視野にいれつつ、歴史的な出来事を記述する際に必要な議論を精査してきた。この成果の一部は、東京大学のグローバル・スタディーズ・イニシアティヴのイベントにおいて、社会運動に関する計量的な分析手法である「抗議イベント分析」を用いた反貧困運動の研究として報告した。第二に、インタビュー調査と資料収集を継続して進め、それらを用いて分析を行ってきた。特にメディアとの関連で反貧困運動がどのような戦術を用いたのかということについて、第95回日本社会学会大会にて「反貧困運動における戦術革新のプロセス――年越し派遣村の成功体験とプレッシャー」という題目で報告を行った。学会報告を通して、今後の研究計画に関する重要な指摘を得たほか、社会運動研究者との交流を深めることができた。最後に、本研究は世界の社会運動との比較をを考えることも視野に入れており、その点でアメリカのサンディエゴで行われたMobilization-SDSU conferenceへの参加は、非常に刺激的なものであった。リーマン・ショック後においては、反緊縮運動に代表される反新自由主義的な社会運動や、その運動に親和的な政党の台頭に対して学術的な関心が集まっている。そうした世界的な流れのなかに国内の反貧困運動を位置づけ、世界に発信するための準備として重要な一歩とすることができたといえよう。

This study focuses on the definition of poverty and social problems in rural areas since the second half of the 2000s, when village representatives were sent to the villages. Sociology's goal is to create a society. The above research content is the first in this year, and the methodology is reviewed. This is the case with the methods of sociology and political science, which are necessary for careful investigation when describing historical events. A report on the application of the "Protest Analysis" to the study of anti-poverty movements in the measurement of social movements in the University of Tokyo Second, the survey data collection process, and the use of analysis. The 95th Japan Society of Social Sciences Conference presented a report entitled "Anti-poverty Movement, Technical Innovation and Innovation--Success in Dispatching Villages". The report of the society is open to all, and future research projects are important to the understanding of social movement researchers. Finally, this study compares the social movements of the world with those of the world. The anti-austerity movement represents an anti-neoliberal social movement, an affinitive movement, and an academic focus. The world's anti-poverty campaign is in place, and the world's anti-poverty campaign is in preparation.
