従来『詩経』の成立を論じたものは、成立の不確かな他文献と比較、あるいは『詩経』の注釈における時代設定の無批判な踏襲によるもので、その結論は論証し得ない。『詩経』の成立を考える場合、第一次資料である青銅器の銘文、および『詩経』との類似が指摘されている石鼓文との比較以外に方法はないと考える。秦の作器である石鼓文と『詩経』との先後関係は、石鼓文が『詩経』を模倣したものであるとする考え方が定説化しつつある。本研究では『詩経』および石鼓文と比較しうる青銅器銘文を可能な限り収集し、『詩経』・石鼓文・青銅器銘文の三者について、押韻方法・章立て・一章の句数・一句の字数・畳詠形式の有無・主題という観点から比較検討を進めてきた。その結果、(1)石鼓文では一篇に主題が一つであったものが、『詩経』においては一篇に二つ以上の主題が混在しているものがあること、(2)『詩経』における形式的完成体である畳詠形式が石鼓文には見られないこと、(3)押韻方法および形式的に石鼓文が『詩経』詩篇より整斉さを欠くこと(4)赤塚忠が、石鼓文には同語重複、同型表現の反復が見られ、表現が一見朴訥であって石鼓文のほうが『詩経』に先立つ作品ではないかと思われるが、それは朴訥さによるものではなく、模倣者の語彙不足・表現能力の稚拙によるものだとする見解は、実は石鼓文との類似が指摘されている小雅車攻篇・吉日篇にも同語重複、同型表現の反復が見られ、両者の共通点ではあるが石鼓文が『詩経』を模倣したという根拠にはなり得ない点から、石鼓文が『詩経』を模倣したものではなく、石鼓文が『詩経』の畳詠形式に発展する前段階に位置付けられること、また西周期・春秋期の銘文には、石鼓文と比較し得る韻文が存在しないことから、石鼓文の製作が春秋期に溯らないとの結論を得た。その研究成果の一部として「石鼓文製作年代攷」を発表した。

In the past, the establishment of "Shi Jing" was discussed, and the establishment was inaccurate. Compared with other literatures, the establishment of "Shi Jing" was not criticized. This study is about the possibility of "poetry" and "stone drum writing" and "comparison" between bronze inscriptions and bronze inscriptions. It is about the collection,"poetry","stone drum writing","bronze inscriptions and bronze inscriptions", rhyming method, chapter establishment, sentence number of a chapter, word number of a sentence, the existence or absence of the form of chanting, theme and comparison. The result is: (1) The theme of the stone drum text is mixed with the theme of the poem,(2) The form of the poem is complete,(3) The rhyme method is repeated,(4) The poem is repeated, and the poem is repeated. The same expression is repeated, the same expression is repeated. The common point of the stone drum text is to imitate the poem, and the stone drum text is to imitate the poem. The first stage position is to pay for the poem, and the western cycle is to compare the poem with the spring and autumn period. A part of the research results is presented in "A Study of the Making Age of Stone Drum Writing".
