Development of Teaching Materials for Nature Understanding using Action of Envionmental Radiations

本研究的目的不仅是为了明确中小学生对原子能、放射性和辐射的认识和意识，而且是为了利用简单的教材开发学生自己的学习方法。对在校学生进行了关于原子能等方面的问卷调查和分析。大多数学生从大众媒体上获得各种各样的关于原子能等的图像。在学校里容易地教授这一领域的基础科学知识是很重要的。编写简单的教材，帮助学生理解和确定辐射的影响，对科学教育是有益的。利用屏蔽箱和简易云室的彩色薄膜，成功地展示了天然石材和生活用品中的辐射图像和天然放射性的分布。

The purpose of this study is not only to clear the knowledge and consciousness for atomic energy, radioactivity and radiation of lower and upper secondary school students, but to develop the learning methods of students for themself using simple teaching materials.A questionnaire on atomic energy etc.was carried out and analyzed on school students. The majority of the students get various images for atomic energy etc. from mass media. It is important to teach easily the knowledge of basic science for this field in the school.It is useful on science education to develop the simple teaching materials that support the students to understand and ascertain the effects of radiation. we succeed to show the images of the radiation and the distribution of natural radioactivity in the natural stones and the subsistence goods using the color films in shielding box and the simple cloud chamber.
