During the 2022 fiscal year, I published two manuscripts (one first-authored paper and one co-authored paper). Additionally, I conducted an independent meta-analysis which produced preliminary results that are highly relevant to the fields of plant-insect interactions and chemical ecology. These results were presented the Plant-Herbivore Gordon Research Conference in Ventura, California. The first experiment concerning the Crotalaria-Rhizobia-Utetheisa system was conducted on OIST’s campus, which should yield foundational data in the next coming weeks. In addition, a collaboration was established at the Gordon Research Conference with Dr. Po-An Lin from National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. Lastly, I mentored multiple interns and rotation students during the past fiscal year.
