2022年度は、全国の公示地価のデータおよび、2021年度に実施した家計調査を用いて、地名漢字の地価との相関、および人々の認識についての分析を試みた。前者の公示地価データについては、2022年の全国51,742か所の公示地価データを用いて、その地価の所在地（住所）との関係性について検証した。具体的には、地名を構成する漢字一文字一文字に対して、ダミー変数を作成し、地下に対して回帰を行った。地名を構成する漢字は「町」や「字」、「外」など広く地名に登場する漢字を除外すると、最も登場しているのは「大」となっており、合計6,582か所で登場している。次いで、「田」の計6,088回、「東」の3,656回となっている。その結果、漢字ダミーは全部で1,741個を用いた。この1,741個の漢字ダミーに加え、公共交通機関からの距離や容積率、建蔽率などのその土地に関する情報も説明変数として加えたステップワイズ法を用いて分析行ったところ、最も地価を押し下げる（負の相関）がある漢字は「滝」であり、次いで「払」、「咲」、「厚」、「舟」となった。滝や舟は水害を連想させる漢字である可能性がある。一方で、2021年に実施した5,700世帯から回答を得ることができた家計調査では、人々は「水」、「川」、「沼」、「谷」という漢字に水害を連想しており、「山」、「谷」、「土」、「崖」、「崩」という漢字に土砂災害を連想していることが確認できた。したがって、キャピタリゼーションが成立しているという前提で考えると、人々の認識している災害リスクを示す漢字と実際の地価を下げている漢字との間にはずれが生じていることが確認できた。さらに、家計調査で明らかになった水害および土砂災害リスクを示す漢字のうち、「水」と「谷」、「土」、「崖」、「崩」については特に地価を押し下げていることが確認できなかった。
