本研究は，１．高齢者の地域コミュニケーションの複層的な実態把握，２．地域社会学，社会福祉学，微視的相互行為分析の融合による「地域コミュニケーション学」の基盤構築を目的としている．地域コミュニケーションを，A) 地域コミュニティ内での高齢者と他の人々との日常的コミュニケーション，B) 高齢者と専門職・行政職の間でのサービス提供場面，C) 高齢者の生活・福祉に関わる専門職・行政職同士の間での多職種連携，D) 行政職・専門職の所属機関内でのコミュニケーション，という４つの「コミュニケーション・レベル」で複層的に捉えていくことにより，高齢者の日常生活や社会福祉に関わる学術分野間での連携を促進し，統合的な「地域コミュニケーション学」の基盤確立を行うこどを目指す．今年度は初年度であることから，6月の採択決定後，まずは研究メンバー間での研究関心や既有のフィールドの紹介を通じて，次年度以降の複数のフィールドでの共同調査のための具体的な情報共有と研究計画案の策定を進めた．具体的には，7月のキックオフ会合，9月の各メンバーの研究計画発表会（ともにオンライン）に加え，2月には外部参加者も招聘し，対面での研究交流会も実施した．来年度以降の本格的なフィールド調査に向けて，10月には一部メンバーの既有フィールドである長野県天龍村をメンバー全員で訪問し，同役場への今後の調査依頼を行うとともに．3月には同村役場にて，村民向け企画を実施した．また，滋賀県竜王町役場福祉課での多職種連携会議の継続的な調査（上記C・Dに相当）を開始した．研究成果としては，天龍村にて一部メンバーが以前に収録していた移動販売場面のビデオデータを用いた微視的相互行為分析の結果を論文発表した（上記A・Bに相当）．
