本課題では，物語コンテンツを対象とした内容検索を実現するために，物語の登場人物の発話や行動を手がかりとした物語コンテンツの内容理解・意味的構造化と，物語コンテンツの特徴に基づく人の認知・感性の解析を試みている．2022年度の主な成果は(1)登場人物の性格特徴の取り扱いに関するモデル化，(2)登場人物間の関係性の視覚化手法の試作，(3)物語コンテンツの忌避要因に対する回避手法の提案である．(1) 登場人物の性格特徴を把握する手がかりとして服装や身体特徴等の外見特性と性格や心的傾向等の内面特性の二観点から関係性を調査し，特定の属性を事前条件とした場合の他の属性についての条件付き確率を算出した．これにより登場人物の見た目から性格を演算し推定できる可能性が示唆された．また，こうした登場人物の性格特徴の収集に適した情報源についてについても検討し，登場人物特徴についてはコミック紹介文が，作品のメタ情報についてはレビュー文が各々適していることが確認された．(2) 登場人物の性格特徴と登場人物間の関係性を動的なグラフ表現を用いて視覚化する手法を試作した．この手法では登場人物を表すノードには性格特徴が，それらを結ぶリンクにはRDF FOAFのRelationshipタイプが各々割当てられている．複数の作品の関係を対比表示させ，注目する性格特徴や関係性を指定することで，類似した作品の把握や特定の関係性が描かれた作品の発見に貢献することが実験により確認された．(3) 物語コンテンツにはしばしば読者が忌避する地雷表現が現れる．この忌避要因は人によって様々であり一律の回避手段は難しい．そこで予告を提示することでそれを回避する手法を考案した．長期のシステム利用実験を通じて，少ない人数であっても地雷表現箇所の登録と予告提示ができること，予告提示により読者に地雷表現に対する心構えを促せることが確認された．
