本研究は、冷戦が構造化された軍事的性暴力に支えられたシステムと考えられるのではないかという問いに取り組むものである。それを検討するために、①沖縄と韓国での駐留米軍による性暴力の実証研究 と処罰に関する法の運用を日米地位協定・韓米地位協定のポリティクスを中心に分析し、軍事的性暴力がどのように構造化されているか明らかにすること、また、②継続している朝鮮戦争によって長期駐留軍がどのように容認され、構造化されているかを島嶼フェミニズムの視点から明らかにすることを試みる。本年度は①沖縄と韓国の駐留米軍による性暴力と処罰をめぐり、沖縄では主に1950年代、60年代の犯罪について実証研究を行った。2021年度から引き続き、性犯罪に関する「沖縄　米兵による沖縄の女性に対する性犯罪」年表の改訂を行った。また韓国については、在韓米軍基地周辺の性産業である「基地村」で性産業に従事していた女性たちが中心となって韓国政府に損害賠償を請求した訴訟の大法院判決を求める活動の資料収集を行った。冷戦期の韓米関係に関しては、済州島四・三事件の批判的研究という文脈から、研究発表を行った。②朝鮮戦争とインターセクショナル・フェミニズムに関しては、1990年代初めに韓国、北朝鮮、日本の女性たちが休戦協定以来初めて交流し、アジアの平和と女性の役割について議論した「アジアの平和と女性の役割」会議について資料収集と行い、概要をまとめた。また、トランス・パシフィックな脱軍事化・脱植民地化をめざすフェミニスト平和運動について研究発表を行った。
