光環境設計手法の変遷を、建築様式の変遷に照らし定量的な解析結果も交えて示すことを目的とする本研究において、2022年度は国内の美術館建築や宗教建築を中心として取材を行った。定量的な解析手法として、空間内の輝度分布と色分布の偏差を比較することで示すことを考えている。いずれの定量化も、空間内の360度画像が撮影可能なRICOH THETAを用いて、ISO：100、絞り2.0に設定した状態で11段階のシャッタースピードによるマルチブラケット撮影した画像を、光環境のシミュレーションソフトであるREALAPSを用いて合成解析し、CIE（国際照明委員会）の定める3刺激値であるX,Y,Zを算出し、これをもとに分析を進めている。360度画像は解析にあたり画素数を25%に圧縮している。なお、空間の光環境分析を360度の全方位画像をもとに行う理由は、視線方向を限定したうえでの空間評価では部分的な評価となってしまうデメリットが指摘されているためであり、REALAPSも360度画像をもとにした解析を可能としている。360度画像上の各画素における3刺激値を用いて、画像上の画素の輝度の出現回数や、横方向の画素の平均輝度をもとにした空間内の光の重心の算出を行い、四分位偏差による輝度分布の特徴を示すデータ処理テンプレートの作成を進めた。更には、a*b*平面に各画素の情報をマッピングし、平面図上における各画素の原点からの距離（彩度）や+a*軸からの回転角（色相）の分布の特徴も四分位偏差により算出での比較で、定量的な空間の特徴を見出そうと考えている。
