令和４年度は実験刺激の詳細を決定するための情報収集と，実験プログラムの作成・実行のための環境整備を行った。実験刺激について：本研究で実施する２線分の長さ比較課題の実験刺激作成のため，情報収集を行った。先行知見（Freyd & Finke, 1984）には刺激の大きさ（視角）の情報の記載が無いため，現在も研究活動を続けている筆頭著者に電子メールで問い合わせをしたところ，現職に就くにあたり大学を移動した際，当該の実験の資料は全て破棄しており，刺激の大きさについては不明である旨返答をいただいた。そこで，上記先行知見を引用している論文を調査したが，同様の課題を行なっている研究は無いことが分かった。環境整備：実験プログラムを実行するコンピュータを調達し，刺激操作及び提示と反応取得などを行う実験プログラムの作成と，実験実施のための環境構築に取り組んだ。
