本研究における2022年度の成果は、小児糖尿病サマーキャンプのOB/OGから聴取した体験談から、成人期医療に移行していく過程における体験を整理し、それも参考にしながら、移行期手帳に記載する内容について再度検討したことである。小児期に１型糖尿病を発症した3名の青年期患者に対し、現在に至るまでの①知識獲得（インスリンの作用や副作用、合併症、糖尿病の性の健康への影響についての理解）の経緯と、②行動について（単独受診開始の時期やきっかけ、受診時の様子、相談相手、糖尿病と付き合う上での工夫）、③糖尿病の受け入れについて、オンラインによるグループインタビューを行った。インタビューの時間は123分であった。得られた体験談を逐語録におこし、質的分析を行った。分析の結果、30のサブカテゴリーと、10のカテゴリーが抽出された。以下に分析結果を示す。①糖尿病の受け入れ状況にはさまざまなものが影響する、②糖尿病の受け入れ状況は行動に直結する、③精神の発達と共に糖尿病についての理解が進む、④危機感を持つことが行動を起こすきっかけになる、⑤親の過保護による困難を感じる、⑥さまざまな「自立」が進むことで単独受診ができるようになる、⑦主治医と話す力をつけると糖尿病とうまく付き合える、⑧大人になっても心の揺れによる行動の変化がある、⑨同じ糖尿病の人、糖尿病に携わっている人に相談する、⑩やりたいことをするための工夫を諦めないの10カテゴリーが抽出された。これらの結果を、小児1型糖尿病患者を対象とした移行期手帳の内容に反映させる予定である。
