S_ee digital art take over the streets of Manchester!__Buy a digital artwork using your phone_!This project makes it possible to display and sell digital artworks in public places using street art, graffiti, hoardings and wallpaper as 'trigger images' (similar to QR codes). It extends Visioning Lab's existing augmented reality platform, PopupView to make artworks for sale in public places. PopupView has already been used by cultural venues, events and festivals such as the Quays Culture, Manchester Museum and Tatton Park. This project will also help people understand augmented reality and build awareness and skills in these transformative technologies.
